State Representative Jeff Keicher, R-Sycamore, has announced the winners of his first annual 70th District Art Contest for middle school students. Winners’ artwork was displayed at the State Capitol in Springfield during the week of May 6. This year’s winners are:
Emily Bychowski (Third Place-Tie) “1956 Chevrolet Bel Air” – Sycamore Middle School
Kenya Calin (Third Place-Tie) “What Lies Beneath” – Clinton Rosette Middle School-DeKalb
Ava Carpenter (Second Place) “Self-Portrait” – Sycamore Middle School
Sarah Nichols (First Place) “The Pearl Wolf” – Sycamore Middle School
