State Representative Jeff Keicher, R-Sycamore, and the Kishwaukee Family YMCA will be hosting a blood drive in partnership with the Versiti Blood Center of Illinois from 12:30pm – 5:30pm on Wednesday, July 8th at the YMCA located at 2500 Bethany Road.

“There continues to be a severe blood shortage in Illinois amidst the COVID-19 pandemic,” Rep. Keicher said. “To host this blood drive at this time, we are taking into account all the necessary safety precautions for volunteers, donors and staff. Our community has already come together in so many ways to help each other out. This is just one more way we can continue to do that, and in this case we can help save lives.”
Spots are limited for blood donation, so interested residents should make an appointment as soon as possible.
