State Rep. Jeff Keicher, R-Sycamore, is partnering with State Sen. Dave Syverson, R-Rockford, Winnebago County Board Chairman Joe Chiarelli and Belvidere Mayor Mike Chamberlain for a “Valentines for Seniors” card drive to benefit local seniors living in residential care facilities in DeKalb, Boone and Winnebago Counties now through February 10, 2021.
“Seniors are incredibly important in our community, and we need your help by writing cards to seniors living in assisted living and long-term care facilities in our district,” Syverson and Keicher said. “In the midst of these unprecedented times, we would like to let local seniors know that they are cared for on this holiday.”
Cards can be mailed to or dropped off at any of the following locations, including locally at Rep. Keicher’s district office in Sycamore:

There is no particular format to follow for writing a Valentine card or letter. Interested residents are encouraged to be creative. These letters can include festive or decorated handwritten cards, encouraging and uplifting notes, drawings, etc.
