State Rep. Jeff Keicher, R-Sycamore, and State Rep. Tony McCombie, R-Savanna, sent a letter to Illinois Treasurer Mike Frerichs seeking an explanation and demanding accountability in response to a recent report that aired on NBC 5 Chicago regarding the extreme difficulty many Illinois face when making a claim for money that is rightfully theirs presently in the custody of the unclaimed property division of the State Treasurer’s Office.
