As the spring legislative session nears its conclusion, State Representative Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) is partnering with House Minority Leader Tony McCombie (R-Savanna) to host an End of Session Wrap Up Town Hall in Genoa. The lawmakers will provide an update to constituents on the major issues addressed this year by the legislature, listen to constituent feedback and answer questions.
“Like every session, we have seen some good things and some frustrating things happen,” said Keicher. “Ensuring you, the residents we serve, are fully informed is always my top priority, and I look forward to this opportunity to discuss the major issues from this session with you.”
The End of Session Wrap Up in Genoa will take place at Genoa City Hall, 333 E. 1st Street, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30. The event is free and open to public. No RSVP necessary.
“Making myself available to constituents has been my top priority over the last six years serving in the House,” said McCombie, who was selected by her colleagues earlier this year to serve as the House Minority Leader. “I am excited to be back to update constituents on how I’m fighting for them in the statehouse.”
