October 28 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. If you have unused, unwanted, or expired medications sitting around your house, you can safely dispose of them at a Take Back Day collection site.
Several of our local Police and Sherriff’s Departments will be collecting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:
DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office will be collecting at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.
Huntley Police Department will be collecting at Northwestern MedicineHuntley Hospital.
