Speaking on the House floor, State Rep. Jeff Keicher, who is co-chair of the Taiwan Friendship Caucus along with Rep. Will Davis, expressed support for the people of Taiwan following the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that killed several people and left hundreds injured.
“We send our resolute support and prayers to our friends in Taiwan following the devastating 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck yesterday,” said Keicher. “As co-chairs of the Taiwan Friendship Caucus, Rep. Will Davis and I send our love and compassion on behalf of the Illinois House for all the families affected by this disaster and for the first responders still working to save lives right now.”
