Yom Kippur begins tonight at sundown. This sacred day is a time for reflection, atonement, and prayer for our Jewish friends and neighbors.
As the horrific Hamas terrorist attacks of last October and the ongoing conflict have revealed, antisemitism and the hate it fosters still permeate our society today.
To my friends and neighbors of the Jewish faith, I join you in reflection and the seeking of forgiveness as you face the current struggle and offer my sincere hope for a better year ahead.
